What is This War?

What is this war bestowed on us

Is it true democracy

I think not, more dictatorship

That will not set us free

They said we had to fight

For freedom in this land

Yet, is that not a contradiction

For, they have the upper hand

We will never enjoy our liberty

Never regain our lives

Our houses burnt and pillaged

They have even raped our wives

What is this war bestowed on us

Is it just a mindless game

For them to be controllers

While we just take the blame
